Can I write a Hub sharing the first few chapters of my novel or would that be self-promo?
Of course, I would only share the first few and if enough people were interested in more, I would share the rest. Would that be frowned upon in the Hub community?
The hard part is getting someone to publish the book if you upload a large fraction of it online.
Personally, I've put one self-contained chapter online to promote my books "Norn Born" and "Sirat", resulting in some sales.
I've also posted short stories on Hubpages with links to my books for sale, as a "for more by this author".
I am currently writing a romance novel. And I have the first four chapters of it posted here on Hubpages in four separate hubs. I probably won't post anymore of it here, because I would like to get it published, but I would love for anyone to read it.
