I am struggling with how to write a hub and meet their standards.
I am at a complete stand still on creating a hub. Adding images doesn't always work like with poetry. It is just frustrating me and I am ready to just not use images at all. I tried to write about the Russia investigation and couldn't find an image on any site. I struggled with quoting sources like a news report.
I wouldn't try to publish poetry here. Poetry is a tough sale, and search engines are not going to be friendly to a struggling poet.
For images try using different keywords to search for them, and try using different search engines too.
You don't have to quote sources. Just write. Try different things. The more you write the more you'll probably think of to say, the better the writing becomes, and the more ideas you'll likely come up with.
This stuff ain't easy, but the more you do it the better you'll get at it.
Robert, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to find images to include with poetry. Check out Pixabay for free use photos. I write mostly poetry here, usually with additional text added. Feel free to check out my hubs for ideas on setting out etc.

I'm having one heck of a time trying to keep up and I'm not enjoying my time on this site like I should be. Trying to keep up with the other authors (I have 21 hubs in almost three years. Pathetic!) Good Lord what do you people find to write about?! Trying to keep up with being penalized. I can...

Why do poems even though well written have a low hub score?Poems are not really lengthy and most poems carry less than 1250 words. Why don't poems have a different rating than a regular article?

I am starting to learn how to social bookmark. I've been doing it on twitter, facebook, igoogle, digg, delicious, diigo, my blogs, pingomatic and a few other places. I have only been doing it on some of these sites for the last four or five days. It probably takes a while to see...

I'm new here at HUB and every one of my hubs has warnings and I've been told that I will be terminated soon because everything I post is substandard. I have read all the Terms. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong and since I'm "punished" and none of them can be viewed, I...
