“I hate writing, I love having written.”
― Dorothy Parker
Funny, but I like the work of writing so can't agree. I like learning more about all kinds of writing, exercising writing skills, the satisfaction of even one well-written sentence that causes me want to write more (though not so much the frustrating mistakes I can make that make me think I should not write again), and I like working to write something that gives others an opportunity to think outside their box.
RTalloni, I agree. The process is accelerating and rewarding. Though at times it is terribly humbling. I like the idea of doing writing exercises but I tend to do them while I am working as a writer and don't have to practice outside of work. So many times I thought of listing awesome verbs and such as a source when I feel stuck on a sentence or paragraph. When I am done with an assignment, I feel so good and proud.
