She has written an article for the word prompt, "Beginnings"

    Hey AB...( angie )
I just finished reading your work.

In your article you share a bit about yourself and your family.
Congratulations on 40 yrs and those 3 children &
    Five grandchildren.

Marriage is a big step and soon all 3 of your children will be blessed with joining their partners for life.

Your advice in your poem, "Marriage: Beginnings (When I Said, I Do)"  rings the words of truth.

Marriage isn't something to enter lightly.
It's a lot of hard work to keep that magic alive...too bad there isn't a magic fairy dust.
But the vows are there for a reason & they keep us trying to make things right.

They'll be tears of joy and sadness, laughter & disputes, but a marriage can last and blessed by God.

That extended family when the children arrive might make things rough at first, but you learn to juggle your schedule.

What a great write for Beginnings.  There's nothing better than joining two lives together as one.

I wish you and your family all the best with this upcoming wedding.

Take lots of pics.  Memories last a lifetime.

Absolutely love the song by Clint Black...beautiful.

I posted a link in the word prompt article.

      Hi Brenda.
Recently, I read an article about a young country music artist who said that she divorced her husband because the glitter was gone.
I don't recall anything about glitter in my vows and that's some pretty high expectations there! Sad, that the marriage wasn't given the time to get to a deeper level that pales glitter! In the age of instant gratification, guess it's a lot to ask for marriage to be given time...
Anyhow, the story was fresh on my mind, when I saw your word prompt, "Beginnings".
Thanks for perfect timing in your word selection smile and for the work you put in, to make this work!!

Somehow...things just seem to fall into place.

I call that God's perfect timing...so glad the word inspired you at this very joyous time you & your family have to celebrate.

Congratulations to your youngest son and his fiancé. I am sure they will learn and love from the example you and your husband have provided.
And I just have to say, I simply adore the Clint Black song choice…When I Say I Do. (sigh) It’s one of my favorite country ballads.

Hi Savvy, agreed on the song, I've listened to it no less than a dozen times since selecting it.
Thank you for your well wishes and kind words. I finally chose my dress yesterday...cutting it close!! I know that it will be a beautiful wedding.
      Thanks again!

    Hello AB Williams!
Great response to the word prompt, Beginnings. You have some valuable and important advice for those who are getting married, and even for others, who are married.
Marriage means commitment, mutual understanding and many adjustments, for both the partners.
My Best Wishes to you and your family.
Thank you for sharing, thank you to Brenda for highlighting this in the forum.

Hi Chitrangada, so good to hear from you!
"Marriage means commitment, mutual understanding and many adjustments, for both the partners".  Great advice!!
I don't think that marriage is taken seriously enough any longer. I hope and pray that changes, but right now, it seems to be more of a game with unrealistic expectations attached, for too many, not committed to the long haul!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting and for your best wishes. I hope that all is well with you.
