As in books Blogs or hubs don't count.
I'm reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote.
I just finished Light in August by William Faulkner.
Haven't heard of it, tell me something about it.
Set in the post Civil War south, a mixed race child is given up at birth, has a terrible childhood, and grows up to do a bad thing. There are several characters whose stories intersect and influence his, and a few familiar names from Faulkner's other works. It's a classic, and a difficult read. I am an English grad student, and it has taken me several reads to fully appreciate it.
Just finished Nicholas Sparks' Safe Haven, now going back to my Patrick Swayze's Time of My Life
Right now reading hubs ...Other than that reading Ellen Degeneres, The Funny Thing Is....
I'm currently reading a mixture of fiction and nonfiction. I usually always do. I browse the stacks and pluck out what catches my eye, sometimes it's the cover or the title that intrigues me.
Nonfiction I'm Reading:
The Demon in the Freezer by Richarrd Preston
It's about bioweapons and their manufacture, whether foreign countries are using a virus like smallpox or a bacteria like anthrax. It also explores the history of smallpox eradication efforts in the late 70's.
Fiction I'm Reading:
White Cat by Holly Black
Never Cry Werewolf by Heather Davis
Captivate by Carrie Jones
Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
