Hi everyone . I haven't wrote much of anything in the last fifteen years and I miss it and have decided to get back into it.
I am wanting to write in my spare time as a part time job. I could really use some help. i really need some refresher courses. Maybe some classes or mentors. Does anyone have some links or info that might help me or point me in the right direction .
Welcome to the site.
Just wondering, did you not get the answers you wanted the first time you posted this?
can anyone help me to understand why this post keeps getting moved from the help section to the Commercial and Creative Writing section ?
Just start writing, not for profit but for the joy of writing. Start with your journal, then start writng about the things you love in life. Just start.
Before I came to hubpages, I was always like "I'll finish my journalism degree and then one day write a book. I don't know enough to write."
When I joined hubpages I realized - I can just write. You don't need a degree or a mentor or someone peering over your shoulder who supposedly knows more than you.
The hubpages community is full of people who will give you great feedback and help you in so many ways - if you just start writing what you know, you'll learn so much - I have!
wrylitt , i sent you a mail . where do i find my inbox ?
I sent you a reply.
The contact goes straight to the email inbox.
So whatever email you used to sign up will have any future mails from me.
A good way to start is to write " how to do.. something".
If you are still stuck, you could write an article on " how to not do something".

I know some of you will think this idea to be a bad one or even an inconvenient one, but there are many hubbers here who have no clue what the hell they are sending out to the public. Many of these hubbers are from...
