People" on Amazon!
I have been preparing for the publication of my children's chapter book, "Ping & the Snirkelly People" for months now. Yesterday it came out on Amazon. There is only one Facebook "like" on that page now -- and it's mine. That's pathetic!
My marketing plan always factored Hubpages traffic into the equation. The Google algorithm change has really hit me hard at a bad time. I have been active on HP and have kept publishing new Hubs, but this morning I had only 87 hits from Google to my HP account.
Please help me out. I supposedly have 851 followers on HP. If each of you could find it in your heart to "like" the Amazon sales page for "Ping & the Snirkelly People" it might make a big difference.
HP links have been devalued. Facebook likes are now the currency of the moment!
Please help!
Aya, where is the link to the page where Like button is located? I poke around and could not see it...
Liked. Found this thread by accident while searching google algo stuff. Good luck on your book!
I tried to like but couldn't because I haven't bought anything with my amazon.com account, so I shared instead
You're welcome and be sure to tell me when they show up on amazon.co.uk and I'll like them for you and even write a positive review if I can
Thanks, Susana! It takes a while for them to show up on Amazon.co.uk. So far I have only one children's book listed there, and it is a very short verse piece for preschoolers:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Case-Theres-Fox … amp;sr=8-2
If you are interested in reviewing it, drop me a line and I will send you a URL where you can download a pdf file.
You don't need to buy anything to like it. I just did it. You do need a facebook account to like it though
When I clicked like, it said you can only like if you have used this account to make a purchase from amazon.com.
I think you're right, Susana. You need both a FB account, and an Amazon.com account that you have used for some purchase at least once in order to complete the "like".
That's weird. Because I've not purchased anything through my Amazon account, and was able to like your link. So, I am not sure what is up with that.
And, yes, I even double checked my "like", and on Amazon, it said that "you"(meaning me) and 6 other people like this item.
Don't want to be picky, but I just copied this directly from the from the pop up:
You and 6 other customers like this.
Telling us what you like can improve your shopping experience.
Note: For your like to be added to the total, you must have made a purchase with this account.
Thanks, PrettyDarkhorse!
I'm beginning to feel more cheerful!
Got ya covered with a share and a like Aya. Hope it helps!
Done. Good luck with sales. Hope you sell a ton of them.
Agreed! I hope you get lots of sales.
I've followed the link and liked it also. Good luck.
Thanks, Shadesbreath! Haven't seen you in a while. Hope all is well!
Thanks, all is well, just busy. Summer's commin' though, HP play time again.
Hey Aya, login to FB. I've put your link, book and a message in my status to hopefully help.

Hello Everyone, I made it to my 10th Hub and just got approved for Amazon and Google AdSense. I am disabled and cannot work a regular job. I do not make enough on Disability to pay rent, bills, and groceries. I tried working again and that did not last. So I tried to find a part-time job that I...

Dear Hubbers. I've recently noticed so many changes on Hubpages. I had no internet for a week and upon my return things look so different. I like the cleaner white pages with the underline beneath the titles. The column width seems narrower, while now advertisements show up on both left and right...

Hi!I am a first time Hubber, and I am trying to learn the ropes. I have written my first article on "polymyositis" and how I am living with it. I need help with critique. I asked a friend to do it, but busy. Can someone take a look at my article "The Sneaky Sister"...

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...
