November 2011 Writing Contest - Can You Submit a Story in Parts?

I've been trying to find this answer on the hubpages official contest rules but so far no luck.  What if you have a story that's rather large and needs to be published in segments.  How will the judges interpret a story like that, as one entry or as many entries as there are story parts?

Good question! I think so - from one of the recent replies from Staff where someone asked about NANORIMO (or whatever it is!) - they seemed to imply you can put a seriel in the contest.

I plan to do that myself...

Thank you Simey! I will go with the "publish in parts" approach.  That will really help readability.  My story's over 9,000 words!

I'd wait for an official reply though just in case - I'll see if I can find the other thread...

Not fully conclusive, but I think as long as you follow the rules and the work is original - there's nothing that stops you writing a series  - the only thing is that you may not 'win' overall for individual parts...
