Hey Hubpages. I need some help with my current project, and since we're all a bunch of writers, I thought I'd ask you guys for help (I mean, who better right?).
The gist of it is this. I have a novel that I plan on releasing either December or January on Kindle, but I need people to go over my manuscript to gauge if it's ready. It's a book. A short children's book. It's about 20,000 words, so it isn't really that much to read through.
For anyone who is interested in helping out, you'll be credited in the book, and more than that, you'll also have a contact (me) to help you out with your own writing endeavors. Interested?
The brief rundown on the story is that it's a children's adventure novel with a bit of an Inception element. It's about two children who are literally trapped inside a novel, and must get out.
If you're interested, then you can either PM me, or leave a message on the forum.
Thanks for your time.
If you need a third reader, you can count me in too
If not, I also have some bookselling sites, so if you want some free promotion, let me know

How do you get honest/helpful beta readers for a book?I'm rewriting my fantasy trilogy. When I first wrote it, some people read it and said it was great. It was only after it was published that people pointed out issues. I felt a bit cheated because no one gave me honest feedback before. I want to...

We are interested in writing a book, the thing is we know very little about the best route to take. Could someone please write on this matter for the benefit of us all. Thanks

Let's say you've finally completed a manuscript for review and you don't want to self-publish, andyou receive a nibble from an agent who wants to discuss your work and asks you if you have any questions. What will your top two questions be?

I was wondering if anyone would consider taking the time to stroll through my hubs and read a few? I would love more feedback, and I think it would help me get to know other hubpage authors. Thanks!

Do you think that Hubpages is the best place to write a children's series?I have written two chapters of a children's series called Emily's Little Life. I have not had a lot of feedback .. I questioned the wisdom of placing this type of writing on hubpages. What do you think?
