Why am I always the only one in the house bitten by bed bugs?

I noticed the bites last week but I haven't really seen the actual bug. I change sheets every week as well. I would change the matress soon but I'm only wondering if there's an actual reason why I'm the only one bitten ALWAYS.

What I don't understand is even at times when I would stay at some friend's house and we would share the same room, more so the same bed, I will always be the only one ending up with bites. Are bed bugs attracted to certain things?

Apparently, I don't have pets as of the moment. So maybe they aren't ticks or fleas. You are one lucky lady Paula I have to say. I am certainly not vying for being Ms. Popularity in the bug community ;)

This made me laugh. If this was true, they sure are very picky bugs, and the bugs that bit me are probably old and blind.

I'm greatly considering this statement as I haven't actually seen the bugs. But the bites don't disappear after a few hours.

I used to us a certain germicidal sulfur soap before so I could say I am not allergic to it. Thanks for the information MizBejabbers. I will definitely try your suggestion. The bites leave dark marks and I hate it. This biting spree needs to stop!
