crook neck squash have huge seeds in the,...even if we pick them small or large. Is there something I am doing wrong?
I can grow both of these easily in almost clay dirt so my guess would be possibly you are using soil that is too rich causing the rush for the large seeds. Possibly you can check online for soil types for those, or maybe too much moisture?
