What qualities do you look for in a contractor?

What is most important, price, quality, honesty, or productivity?

I think if one choses honesty, it will take care of price and hopefully productivity.  Personally, I would like to have an honest contractor with an eye for finish work.  We have a contractor we have used many times on projects who is an honest man--but his finish work is rough as a cob.  We finally had to quit using him--my last bay window trim still looks like crap.

I'm a service tech, so I look at what a contractor will pay me, what sort of neighborhoods he does business in, etc.

all of the above. a high quality job is useless if it puts you in the poor house. honesty is part of quality really and getting the job done efficiently is par for the course. what i want my customers to have is respect for my company at the end of the job.
