How do you judge a house painting estimate?
I just received one estimate on having my house painted inside and out. I think it is high, even though the person referring this particular painter swears by his work. The painter says he pays for all supplies and estimates based on how long he thinks the job will take. So, I am going to get two more estimates, but wonder if I will just end up with the same problem of not really being able to tell if any of the estimates are fair and normal for my area and job.
It depends on the size of your home as well. If you do a little research around by getting other estimates and by reading reviews of their previous customers you can make a more educated decision based on quality and price.
