How can I keep dark clothing lint-free when I wash it?
Every time I put my black dresses and shirts in the washer, they come out covered in lighter colored lint. I don't dry them (to keep their dark colors) and don't use drier sheets anyhow, so I don't think it would help. How can I keep the lint from getting on them in the first place?
use some vinegar in the place where you would put bleach. Not only is it good for the machine (keeps the 'pipes' running clean) The vinegar will also set the colors in the fabric.
