What is the best time of day to water young, newly transplanted plants?
Young or transplanted plants require more watering. But is there a particular time of day which will make watering most effective?
You want to water only after the sun has gone down or before the sun comes up. If the sun is on the plants don't water them or you will kill them.
Exactly as crazyhorsesghost has it. They should be watered when the sun goes down or early in the morning before it comes up, so that they are up and have their heads high and strong enough to go through the heat of the day that follows.
