   Do you use your microwave oven just to warm up foods?
   
   Do you have a microwave oven and use it only for warming up foods or milk or to thaw frozen foods? or do you have a convection style microwave oven and cook in it?  I did try to poach eggs in mine and was not very successful!

   Yeah, I once tried to hard boil eggs in a microwave and was not very successful.
   
   Generally I use it just to warm up foods. The first thing I do every morning is make a cup of instant coffee and heat it in the microwave. Then I decide whether or not I want to brew a pot.

   I use to heat foods but I don't use it to defrost.  I end up cooking part of it and the inside is still frozen!  I also use it to heat up rice bags that we use for pain relievers like a hot pack.

      It is perfect for warming up the rice bags!  I also use it to cook microwave popcorn.

   I use it to heat up foods, bake potatoes and for those foods that are made to microwave (microwave pizza, etc.)

      I like mine to cook up vegetables like potatoes and carrots too.

   My microwave is mostly just used for re-heating leftovers and defrosting some foods, when necessary.
