    I just looked up the climate of Queensland and saw that you have a subtropical climate in the southeast very similar to the climate of Florida. So you can pretty much get away with growing a lot of fruits such as figs, persimmons, pomegranates, and maybe even bananas and citrus fruits.

    If you were to grow greens and vegetables you will have to wait for when the weather is around 20-30 degrees celsius. Most of them are very sensitive to intense heat.

    You are lucky to live in such a climate you can grow abundantly, and all year round just about. Have fun growing.
