What is the nicest thing ever said to you?
Is there one thing someone said to you that touched you so deeply that it has always stuck with you?
Someone once said upon meeting me "I see Jesus in your eyes." When they got to know me that said "I see Jesus in you."
Oh lambservant, it is the highest of 'nicest things' anyone could say. Thanks for sharing - that is a treasure to store up and a trust to keep.
Oh, how beautiful, lambservant! One would never forget such words.
I'm wondering if people don't want to feel like they are bragging or if they've not had anyone say anything that stuck out. I'll share my comment and hope to hear more. One day when I was distressed and feeling like a failure, as a parent to a rebellious teen, my youngest daughter sat next to me quietly and then quietly took my hand and said, "I want to be just like you when I grow up Mom." You can imagine the tears and joy that one comment brought. I will never forget it!
One day at a store, I held open the door for an elderly lady who had her hands full of bags on her way out. She looked at me and said, "Thank you and yes you are". I told her she was welcome and I went in the store wondering what the last part was about. Something made me glance at my t-shirt. I was wearing the one I got at a concert. It was a Mark Lowry shirt and, on the front, it said "I'm remarkable" referring to the Bible passage about being wonderfully made by God. That woman's comment reminded me (and still does) that both God and people appreciate the little things we do to help other people.
I can't really say if there has been any one statement that stands out above the rest. I was raised by a kind mom and good dad and they said so many wonderful things to me as a person, daughter, friend, and more. My hubby is always saying sweet things. I have family and friends who are very kind in their words as well. It just makes your world a better place.

What is the last thing that made you Laugh Out Loud? Many people will type LOL to comment on something funny, but rarely are they actually laughing out loud. What is the last thing that really made you laugh out loud?

I've been having issues with the comment box for the past few days. It actually 'disappears' when I am typing a comment. (Goes off screen, then reappears). Or it switches from full size to a kind of foreshortened view. Best way I can describe is it keeps flipping around. (Frustrating.) I am...

Do comments you leave on your own Hubs count towards your comment levels?Regarding the accolades, I was just wondering. We've covered that answers to questions do not count towards your "commenter" level accolade, but do the comments we leave on our own Hubs? When I get a bunch of...

Hi! I haven't been in these forums for a long time. I was just wondering why some of my activity in Hubpages don't show up in the Hubtivity section. Like when I comment on people's hubs, one comment shows up in Hubtivity while another doesn't. Has this happened to anyone else?
