What are the best plants to cultivate around the home and yard to keep away fleas?
I know about lavendar and catnip. Are there other plants that deter fleas, and how hard are they to grow?
Rather than trying to deter fleas with plants, you might consider using cedar mulch. Cedar sends fleas and other pests running.
If you have an organic gardening center near you, ask if they sell cedar crystals. You can apply them with a shaker to any garden areas, including your lawn, to deter fleas. Your garden will smell like a cedar closet for a few days, which I've always found a plus!
