Does anyone know how to make African Violets produce more flowers after the first ones die?
I have two and they had flowers when I bought them but now they don't. I have them on a window sill where they get the morning sun.
African violets like good indirect light (6 hrs per day if possible) and even moisture/humidity w/ good drainage. Don't let the peat moss soil fully dry out but don't let it be soggy either. Setting your pot on a small tray of gravel w/ water allows for extra humidity which a/c and heaters remove from the air. They like to be somewhat crowded in their pot so size-up in small increments. Rebloom can be encouraged w/ a bi monthly feeding of a high phosphorus, low-nitrogen fertilizer like a 10-30-10 or equivalent. I dilute my feedings to half-strength to prevent salt bulid-up. Be patient! You'll soon see results:)
