    Hi Maria!
It’s a very well written and informative article about growing the beautiful Lilies. I love this flower, and would be following your detailed instructions, as a gardening enthusiast.
    Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing this well written informative article by Maria Montgomery. I was thinking that I would love to plant some until she said they were poisonous to cats and dogs. I have two cats, plus our neighborhood is full of outdoor cats that often come to our tiny frog pond to drink. I would hope that the cats wouldn't want to chew on them, but some might. I wouldn't want to harm anyone's pet.

Hi MizBejabbers, It's nice that you welcome neighborhood pets into your yard. The dog we lost a few years ago never munched on plants, she just sniffed them and moved on. We have a puppy now, and he chews on everything. Now I know I will have to keep him away from all our plants and flowers. Bummer.

I have always admired these lilies particularly when they are in bloom.  Thanks for telling us more about their growing needs. And thanks Chitrangada for sharing this information with us.

Thank you, Chitrangada, and thank you Maria. I read the article on the Lily of the Nile and also one on growing okras. Both are informative and helpful. For me, especially the one on okras, because I grow those. Finally, I get an explanation on the S shaped ones. (Catching up, so please excuse me if my comments are not in order. Been way from the site for a while).

Hi MsDora. Ah, a fellow okra grower. I knew you were a girl after my own heart. No worries about order, I just appreciate you reading my articles. I haven't been her much lately, as I'm studying for more advanced master gardener training and landscape design. So I have little time to write, but I sure want to get back to writing. Enjoy those cute little S shaped okras.
