Most defiantly a saver, I don't spend much even when I have lots of money to spend!

I am a big time spender. I know this is my negative point but I feel helpless when it comes to save the money. But I am overcoming my speding habit now and trying to save some money.

A saver, definitely. I've always been one. When I was younger my friends would kind of tease me about it, but now that I'm comfortable and I've never been in debt they're asking me for advice. tongue

Am a wise spender and saver. I save part of my income, and spend the rest but I must plan all what I plan to buy.

I would call my family Budgeters rather than savers, we set our spending limit less than our income and do whatever we want with the money we have allowed ourselves.
We get to increase our sending as our investments make us more money.

I'm a bit of a spender. But I would like to change that. I'd like to actually start saving more.

Looking back over my financial choices, I'm more a spender than a saver. It wasn't until I had to change locations from Arizona to North Carolina that I had to appreciate and implement the desire to save up. I'm still struggling to find employment but when I do, I'll have to start saving up even more.

This will require a two-fold approach: cutting out discretionary spending (a fancy word I learned to say I'm wasting money) along with finding methods to build a shoring up of income 'defenses' to handle situations as they come. This will also require an uprooting of certain habits that I do in terms of spending as well as being savvy in what I'm spending.

Finally, it will be meaningless to do all this saving and not spend it at all, much less spending the money wisely. The money has to go somewhere and towards something worthwhile. This is done AFTER the obligations (aka bills) are handled in a timely manner.
