Why do we spend time and money on things that we don't need?
I guess because it makes people happy. Or one will purchase an item because it is a great sale.
What a boring life if you only did things or bought things you needed.
because it's called living. life shouldn't just be about what you need but rather about enjoying what you can. if we only strived to fullfill our needs, we would be bored out of our minds in no time.
Because we're largely brainwashed to think that we want these things we don't need. Just my humble opinion.
I buy things I don't need, not all the time but I do it. I don't really like things around the house that I won't use but honestly I could say I don't need many things that I have (but I use these things.) Technically I don't need my smartphone, TV or anything that is a "luxury" item but I have them and wanted them. I think as long as you spend the time and money on things you do need first and you have time and money to spend on things you want then that is cool. I always make sure what my family needs is taken care of before things my family wants.
It is all part of living life to the fullest.
