I have a child who was living with me in 2010 and turned 18 years old in September.
Do I still get the Child Tax Credit?
If this child is attended a school you should be able to get a tax credit on them when you file your taxes. I hope this helps.
No. They may still qualify as your dependent for the Personal Exemption but the Child Tax Credit ends in the year that they attain the age of 17. So, they would have not qualified for the Child Tax Credit in 2009 either.
