You've just received a surprise 500 dollar bonus in your pay, how are you going to spend it?
I would just bank it for the future. In this day and age, one never knows when they may loose their job and will need that money.
Given it is a surprise, I think I would put the money on to my mortgage principal payment. That would pay me back over the long term. Plus it is sensible.
Being crazy with $500 is a bit hard these days, it doesn't go far. to be really crazy with it, I might put it towards a room on a trans-continental train bedroom and ride the train to New York from L.A.
I would use it to help pay off my existing debt. On the road to financial freedom!
