    No, nothing -- money, people, etc. -- can ever "make" anyone happy. Everyone has to make the decision for themselves to be happy, and actively change themselves and/or their environments to allow that to be possible.

    Well, "no money" can make people less happy. Especially, with no regular income.

    Money, certainly brings security when saved and spent wisely. Less stress, so it's definitely easier to be happy.

    When you can get paid for something you already enjoy doing, then I think it can make the person a little bit happier. It's not a guarantee though.

    It also helps reach goals. And that often feels great. Empowering even. So, money certainly does help.

    I read a research study which said that money can make you happy - Up to a point. It said that enough money to cover your commitments and provide security does enhance ones happiness - but beyond that point, no amount of additional money has any effect on happiness at all.
