    Has anyone ever lost their job and were unable to pay their bills? If so, how did you survive?

    I'm finding myself in a bit of a tough situation since I lost my job in June. Just wondering if anyone who has been there has any advice or moral support to lend me sad

    I've been job hunting for over a year now. I'm lucky that my husband lives with me, and he still gets a decent paycheck, but it doesn't cover all of the bills. I've been doing odd jobs to help make ends meet (housekeeping, mowing lawns, helping build decks...ANYTHING!). I also have had to go to relatives and ask for money a few times. It's a very humbling experience, but don't give up looking. Don't be ashamed to pick up an odd job in the meantime. There are lots of people going through this right now, unfortunately...
