Large Corporations buying up internet property to get backlinks
Every year we are seeing large corporations buying up popular websites and then putting their logo and link somewhere on that site to show that they are the new owners. What is the difference between doing this and buying backlinks? I see no difference. You might be surprised to find out who does these things if you truly investigate them. Do you think that people who do this should be penalized or do you think that people using money and power should be left alone to artificially increase their popularity?
That sucks for people who actually work hard to earn those backlinks and. of course they should get penalized.
