Can both spouses in a marriage have there OWN TFSA accounts?
Giving each person a max of $5000 contribution room a year. For a total of $10,000 a year in the marriage of TFSA contribution room
It depends upon your local tax regulations. Some countries see both people within a marriage as being independent of each other, some places allow the parties to choose their most tax efficient method of filing and yet others see a married couple as one individual.
You would really need to seek local tax advice on this question, from a more well informed source.

If you and spouse/partner have your own checking accounts, how does this work out for you?Some couples have problems with joint checking accounts and take out their own, some with both names on the accounts.
