Is there any risk of leakage/hacking of Debit Card info during payment through mobile?
I actually mean to say that is there any possible treats or risks while buying applications through iPhone's App Store or Android's Play or similar other services for Nokia etc.? If yes what are they and how to avoid them
Yes, any type of smartphone that requires downloading and updating apps can access whatever you type into your phone. My Samsung Galaxy Prevail gives me a list of what each app can access and some do say that I should make payments over the phone instead of online because of what the particular app has access to. Smartphones access but don't necessarily use (because of laws) your contacts, location, passwords, call and text logs, etc. Be careful and read Terms and Conditions. Now the Play Store and iPhone App Store do have laws stating that they cannot disclose your personal information without your permission but you won't know what's in the Terms and Conditions that waive that until you read it.
