What is the tax % that I have to pay on selling a property in India that I bought 6 months ago?
I bought an apartment in Bangalore for about 50 lakhs in Dec 2011.I am selling it now for 51.5 lakhs. Do I have to pay tax and if yes, what is the % of tax. I do not want to repatriate this money though (I am an NRI). Appreciate if you can please provide some guidance on this. Thank you in advance.
