If people know they can save money by doing something different why don't they?

Like cell phone service for example, the major carriers don't tell you they offer their same service via other companies, but its advertised as such by such companies, yet people don't save money, why is that?  Afraid of change?

Because people resist change. It makes them uncomfortable. For some people, even the smallest changes make them feel uncomfortable. Fortunately, I'm not one of them!

I have to admit with somethings I get comfortable and I don't hassle too much with change.  Just with a few things not all!!!  :-)

They are comfortable with the way things are. And spending a lot of money makes them feel important. I know what you mean. My cell cost $50 to buy and $10 a month to keep. When I hear someone pays $100 per month for their phone, I about choke.

I used to be one of those people you heard paying an arm and two legs for service.
