That is a pretty broad question you have asked. The short answer is yes anyone can make money with a blog.
However there are many variables that need to be considered such as skill level in creating a maintaining a blog as well the niche market and the knowledge that person has about that market.
This are just a few things that came to mind as soon as I saw the question.
Thats true Matryx, a skill is required to create and maintain a blog.
The answer is yes. The question is "How?" It takes time and it takes talent. I am still in the act of mastering blogging. It takes time and work. Lots of work and lots of time. I have not got it right yet. I am still, actively struggling to get it right.
Someday, maybe, I will get there. Someday. Way off into the future. Years will be needed to get it right.
Regards,
Dr. Haddox
Hi Dr. Haddox,
Even I am working hard to master blogging, but i think it needs time!!
Variables, variables... And a lot of questions...
What do you want to write about? Do you have a plan? How much experience do you have? How patient are you?
I write about psychic growth, spiritual development and Reiki - those are huge niches, and yet I make a living out of it. But I don't just blog, I consider it as a business. I write, I publish, I guest post, I plan, I market and promote, I organize workshops, classes and lectures, and I invest in advertising and learning new skills.
Problogger.net has a lot of lessons for those who wish to turn their blog into business.
Yes, blogging can give you a lot of money - but, I believe, only if you can think of your blog like it's a business, not a hobby. Thus, if you're ready to read a lot of books about modern business, e-commerce, professional blogging etc., then with patience and passion you're on the right path to become a problogger yourself.
I was going to answer this question, then realised that Nathan said everything I was going to! He's absolutely right in that you have to treat blogging as a business, you can't just publish and hope to get money, but with the right plan it can work.
Your reply was very motivational Nathan. And I think you are right, we should take blogging as a business and not as hobby!!
You can make money blogging, and as others have said, you will have to choose a niche. You should not just write for the sake of writing, you should know if you want to earn money from it or just a hobby. Apart from depending on ads, you can register with affiliate sites and sell other people's products and get commission in return. Shareasale.com is one of the affiliate sites that many bloggers are making money from. Best of luck.
Blogging is the one of ways can helping you earn money. But that's not the easy work. You have to do some things seriously. Make money from Blogging is not for lazy person who want to become a millionaire-after-one-night.
For making money from blogging, especially take good amount of money you have to do some things seriouly as:
- Writing more and more articles with high quality.
- You must have knowledge about Website, SEO, or similiar to them.
- You have to let your brain always work, find out ideas...
Certainly, every bloggers has their own best way for making money from their job.
Of course it's possible but getting there won't be easy especially for beginners like us. There are so much to learn. Nonetheless, investing time and effort added with teeming dedication and a "never say die" attitude will surely lead us there maybe not now but in God's time. Good luck to all of us!
yes, a bloging can give you a lot of money if your content is very good, unique, and your traffic is high, high traffic can be achieve if you follow SEO tools.
