    It's call black friday because it's the day in which most corporations go into the black (make a profit). While it's exaggerated, stores do make lots of money on black friday, so the name stuck.

    Black Friday is considered a special shopping day due to heavy discount. On this day, retailers often offer the deepest discounts of the year. Black Friday takes place each year the day after Thanksgiving.
