Chemtrails, the Buzz, the History

Updated on January 10, 2015

Chemical Dispersing in the Air has Been Done at Least as Long as Air Flight.

Do Chemtrails Exist? Some say they do and there is supporting historical and corollary evidence.

Over the last several years there has been a lot of press and discussion of chemtrails, their nature and their uses and abuses. Chemtrails for clarification, are chemical spray dispersed from planes in the air. There are theories about the use of chemtrails today that range from weather modification, to blocking global warming to population reduction. We will look at the history of chemtrails, their many uses and how they are being used currently.

The use of chemtrails is almost as old as air flight itself. Just about anything you can imagine has been dropped from an air-plane. That ranges from propaganda sheets, to smoke, incendiaries, food and munitions drops to atom bombs, so why not chemicals. Certainly in the theater of war, the dispersing of chemicals is one of the methods of combat. In Vietnam alone, thousands of tons of “agent orange” were sprayed over the jungle to defoliate the trees, shrubs and plants to make the enemy more visible. But the history besides this runs much deeper. Chemicals like silver iodide and dry ice have been air dispersed into clouds to cause rainfall and even to weaken hurricanes as early as 1946. Even infra red lasers have been tried. There are experiments in weather modification including the use of planes since 1903; that's over a century! The most recent use of planes to disperse chemicals was the use of them to spread over 2 million gallons of Corexit 9500 over the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. But there is more; much more. Chemtrails thus are nothing new at all, but it is only recently that there has bee a lot of hullabaloo about them. When pesticides were routinely spread over crops while migrant farm workers were still in the fields decades ago, hardly anyone even mentioned it let alone complain. The field hands had virtually no power of expression being non-English and poor. Crop-dusting of pesticides, fungicides and fertilizer has been done since 1921. Dispersing of chemicals by plane has also been used for forest fire fighting. This was done from pilot controlled nozzles and booms, which were located on the back of the wings.

As far back as the Renaissance, Leonardo Da-Vinci mentions the use of sulphide of arsenic as a means to kill enemy by firing bombs filled with it through the air. During WWI, planes were sometimes used to drop tear gas, chlorine, mustard gas or phosgene on the enemy combatants from the air. These gases were also fired from cannon or dispersed on the ground when the prevailing winds permitted. As technology and chemistry progressed, the air force admitted that chemicals like nerve gas, first accidentally discovered and used by the Nazis in the form of saran, tabun, soman, VX gas and other toxins were dispersed from the air by low flying war planes. In Iraq, there was the use of air delivered gas like mustard gas against both Iran and Iran in the early 1980s. More than 100,000 Iranian troops were killed from air dispersed chemicals, or what would be called today, chemtrails. (3)

“Use of lethal or incapacitating chemical weapons in war, and the methods of combating such agents. Chemical weapons include choking agents such as the chlorine and phosgene gas employed first by the Germans and later by the Allies in World War I; blood agents such as hydrogen cyanide or cyanogen gas, which block red blood cells from taking up oxygen; blister agents such as sulfur gas and Lewisite, also dispensed as a gas, which burn and blister the skin; and nerve agents such as Tabun, Sarin, Soman, and VX, which block the transmission of nerve impulses to the muscles, heart, and diaphragm. The horrific casualties suffered in World War I led to the 1925 Geneva Protocol, which made it illegal to employ chemical weapons but did not ban their production. Chemical weapons were used a number of times afterward, most notably by Italy in Ethiopia (1935 – 36), by Japan in China (1938 – 42), by Egypt in Yemen (1966 – 67), and by Iran and Iraq against each other (1984 – 88). During the Cold War the Soviet Union and U.S. built up enormous chemical arsenals; these were dismantled under the terms of the 1993 Chemical Weapons Convention, which prohibits all development, production, acquisition, stockpiling, or transfer of such weapons.”(4)

Science Weighs in on Chemtrails

Recently, 2008-10, major cloud seeding operations were going on in China and in the US for several purposes which include, but not limited to, reducing fog around airports, bringing rain to drought stricken areas, weakening hurricanes, inducing snowfall in ski resort regions and reducing the size of hailstones.(1)

“From March 1967 until July 1972, the U.S. military's Operation Popeye cloud-seeded silver iodide to extend the monsoon season over North Vietnam, specifically the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The operation resulted in the targeted areas seeing an extension of the monsoon period an average of 30 to 45 days.” (1) We know that a large amount of agent orange were also used in the early 1970s and the chemicals had long term damaging effects including birth defects.

On April 30, 2010 and thereafter, the US Air-force was engaged to disperse Corexit 9500 over the massive oils slicks in the Gulf of Mexico. They had the planes equipped to do such a massive job of dispersing more than 2 million gallons of the dispersant. (2)

Knowing this, we now delve into all the speculation of current day chemtrails. Discounting the known effects of jet exhaust that we see coming out of every commercial jet due to condensation of moisture at high altitude, some people suggest that agents like aluminum dust is being dispersed to reflect sunlight and slow global warming. This eventually settles to pollute everything on the ground including people who breath in the dust. There are videos of commercial jets turning on and of dispersing sprays of unknown substances. These may be as simple as cloud seeding. It may even be hoaxes created to rouse people to a certain cause.

Considering what we have said in these pages in the past and what Marx said considering the nature of the class struggle, the potential does exist to exterminate large swaths of the population by using chemical dispersant from the air. Historically, it has been done repeatedly in the past and it has maimed and killed tens of millions world wide. There is heated debate on both sides of the chemtrail argument. Those in denial say it is normal contrails, but the people who say that there is covert weather and population control say contrails dissipate quickly and chemtrails remain for sustained periods lasting several hours or days. The weather control argument states that chemtrails reflect sunlight away from the earth and reduce the effect of the corporate and private carbon footprint. But to get those chemtrails up there requires the burning of copious amounts of fossil fuels, which increases the carbon added that fuels global warming. This is a contradiction. Also, blocking sunlight effectively reduces agricultural production and the efficiency of the natural food web. This brings us fore-square to the next consideration, which is population reduction.

Chemtrails, Monsanto and Geoengineering

There are those that say chemtrails contain aluminum, carcinogens, radioactive barium, nanotechnology and other items that are implicated in Alzheimer disease, Morgellons disease and other conditions. Chemtrails have been observed starting in 1994, but have escalated in the 21st century. We must recall that in order for the capitalist to get rich on surplus value, several things are needed. You need a cheap and abundant work force, plenty or raw resources, a big and ready consumer market and little or no costs in the process of manufacture. Manufacture has evolved to include ever more sophisticated machines, including drone killer planes, that displace workers and reduce the size of the consumer market. This is one of the many inherent contractions of the capitalistic mode of production. But in the world of surpluses, there is now a surplus of human beings that are no longer required. The machines do much of the work. Rapid transit drives itself aided by computers. Large populations use a lot of resources just to stay alive. Sometimes, such as in the history of the First Nations, whole populations are “just in the way”. How do you get rid of a crisis of overproduction of surplus people? Destroy the food supply and make them sick, just like dumping surplus milk. That is the traditional method. That is the record of history! That is what we need to determine the truth about and act! We must act as an entire species group, for ourselves and the whole of the ecosystem that all of us depend upon. There may be nothing to the whole chemtrails business, but; are you willing to take the risk? Knowing what we know about how peaceful protest is handled by deliberate use of maiming technology such as in the recent G8-G20 Summit, can we really expect that there is really nothing to the chemtrails business? Knowing what we know about the end of civil rights under various “anti-terrorist” legislation by people who behave as world class terrorists, can we really totally discount the possibility of a world genocidal pogrom based on what we know of the history of such?
