The Normality of Insanity
Born Into Insanity
We live in an insane asylum! If you are born within insanity, grow up within insanity, have parents, teachers, preachers, doctors, and news readers who were also born into and grew up within insanity; what do you think you are going to accept as normal? Someone from somewhere else would come in and immediately recognize the insanity, but not us -- to us it is "normal". To us insanity is normal, so when someone points it out we think they are the insane ones! Someone notify the Mad Hatter, because we have a situation here that needs the perspective of the professionally insane! We live in an absolutely upside down inverted place -- Earth literally is an insane asylum for the severely mentally deranged!
“Just look at us. Everything is backwards, everything is upside down. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, psychiatrists destroy minds, scientists destroy truth, major media destroys information, religions destroy spirituality and governments destroy freedom." - Michael Ellner.
What are we doing living this way? It is because we have been living as slaves who think we are free.
“Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness.” - Alejandro Jodorowsky.
Whatever you have been born into and brought up in is what is "normal" to you. It doesn't matter how harmful it is to you, if it is what you usually experience then it is normal to you. How many times have we heard children who came from abusive homes say things like, "I thought all families were like that." "Normal" does not mean something is good, beneficial, or right; it is a word that refers to whatever typically happens.
"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." - Jiddu Krishnamurti.
We live within insanity, and we think it's normal!
Leonardo da Vinci: "I awoke only to find that the rest of the world was still asleep."
We need to get rid of this whole idea of "normal". What do we want normal for? Normal = usual, ordinary, habitual, typical, common, regular, average, run-of-the-mill, unremarkable, unexceptional -- and parents want to have "normal" babies? What? Why would anyone want that for themselves or anyone else? Let's not try to be "normal"; maybe we could set our sights a bit higher!
"Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to a job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, car and the house that you leave empty all day in orde..." - Ellen Goodman.
"When one person suffers from delusions, we call it a mental illness; when society suffers from them, we call it being normal." - unknown.
We've all been institutionalized into a ruthless tyrannical system that was put in place to institutionalize us, to make us think "normal" of the insanity we are continuously surrounded by. "Well, it looks fine over here." Oh, does it; does it look fine over there to you? It's not an insane asylum then, because it looks fine to you?
Well, let's see, what have we here: we kill people because killing people is wrong? Is that correct? "Yes, yes it is; an eye for an eye, ya know."
Mahatma Gandhi: "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind."
It is like parents who believe that hitting their children teaches their children not to hit ... bomb people who bomb people to show people who bomb people that bombing people is wrong! We live within insanity, that we accept as normal and we think that it is just "the way things are". Well, they don't have to be that way, not when we wake up and understand what has been going on ... it doesn't have to be that way anymore.
Welcome to the Asylum
What is the Control System doing killing hundreds of millions of people? And we think this is working for us? Who is this working for? Maybe a better question: Who are they working for? It certainly is not the human race. Another question: Who are they? Because they certainly are not us. Who would treat their own species in such a manner? Whatever they are, and whoever they are: it certainly does not seem that they have our best interests in mind, ever.
The Control System always has money for war, but never for people or peace. The money that has been spent on war could have ended poverty and the suffering that goes with it many times over ... but there is just no profit to be made from that. Has anyone ever mentioned to you that they think we may live in some type of insane asylum? Yes indeed, a planet where they send all the crazies; that is what we have here ... we call it Earth, welcome! The orderlies will be with you very shortly, go have a seat.
Always money for war, but always broke when it comes to anything else. It is like an addict: always money for their addiction, never any for anything else. They never have food, but they have their drugs. Never have food for the starving, but always have bombs to drop.
There is no need for one person on this planet to be homeless or starving, no reason whatsoever -- it is this way because it is made to be this way.
How 'bout this for evidence of living within the insanity that could only be found inside an asylum: they put poison on our food ... and then we eat it! "What do you mean organic food is better than food with poison on it?" That could only happen within insanity, but if you say it out loud: "you're crazy"!
"Being considered crazy by those who are still victims of cultural conditioning is a compliment." - Jason Hairston.
We live in a world where we borrow money that does not exist, which is called "credit", and then pay "interest" on it -- which also does not exist! Then, if we do not pay it back, the bank will come and take things of value that actually do exist -- banking is one of the biggest scams in history! Then, our governments borrow money, that does not exist, to fund wars that kill people who do exist ... and then we have to pay that back too! Don't support the wars? Too bad, you're payin' for it anyway! Now go tell everyone you live in a "free country".
All of this is perfectly rational and sane? Of course it is, if you think insanity is sane. "This is how all civilized societies operate." Yes, and "this is how all families are," right?
"The great lie is that it is civilization. It's not civilized. It has been literally the most bloodthirsty brutalizing system ever imposed upon this planet. That is not civilization. That's the great lie, is that it represents civilization." - John Trudell.
Boxed-In Bubble-Wrapped People
People are living their lives isolated into tiny little worlds of their own; they live in their roped-off walled-up lives and reject anything that does not fit inside the little box they unknowingly have been manipulated into, and are therefore forced, to live within for their whole lives. These are the result of a lifetime of institutionally programmed beliefs and perceptions; unless we can break free from all of this, it is all we will ever know. Some people spend their whole lives like this; they get so focused onto one little area of life that they lose sight of anything else. It is like someone who has a very narrow field of vision; they are clueless as to the details of the wider reality -- all kinds of people live life like this.
There are people who are absolutely brilliant, but they only know about one thing. If a particular doctor specializes in just one area, they will often know very little about other areas of medicine. Sure, they will have a wider basic understanding of other things too, but they will be virtually clueless about anything new that has been found in any area outside what they specialize in. This is how brilliant people become clueless; while they focus on one tiny dot, the world passes them by. When they look up, they haven't got a clue as to what is happening. This is how we can have scientists talking about "reality" when they haven't got the slightest idea about what reality is. They only looked within "science" for answers and have therefore limited their perceptions of what is possible; they now find themselves living within a sort of bubble that prevents them from seeing beyond their focus.
The arrogance that goes with this is beyond anything anyone should ever think of as even slightly resembling sanity. People who live in these bubbled-off boxed-in walled-up realities are so arrogant about that which they know nothing about that they will ridicule anyone who even considers anything else a possibility. When people put themselves in bubbles and boxes they automatically become nasty arrogant little know-it-all types who ridicule others for not knowing what they are talking about, when they (the boxed and bubble wrapped people) are who actually -- in reality -- have no idea in the world what they are talking about. All of this arrogant ridicule often comes when they have done no research whatsoever; they have not looked at the evidence, but they believe it is acceptable to ridicule anyone who does. It is mind-blowing really.
"Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance." - Albert Einstein (attributed).
Dr. Wayne Dyer: "The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don't know anything about."
The arrogance that so often comes with ignorance is absolutely amazing; they think they already know everything, but that is absolutely absurd -- there is always more to know.
“When you think that you know everything, you know less than nothing." - Jordan Maxwell.
Ignorant arrogance already knows all that it needs to know about life: "go to school, get a job, go to work, get married, have some kids, pay your taxes, pay your bills, watch TV, listen to the news, obey the law ... now repeat after me -- I AM FREE." That's what "I know everything I need to know" does; and you better do it too, as far as they are concerned -- because that, is the "real world". If you don't want to accept this "real world" of theirs, they believe that gives them the right to treat you poorly because of it.
Other people always want you in their little boxes, but as an internet meme suggests: "don't be afraid to tell them where they can shove that little box." "No, thank you" to the little bubble-boxes of arrogant ignorance -- had enough of that.
Socrates: “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing"..."There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.”
Whatever we know currently, or think we know, is a fraction of all there is to know.
Richard Branson: "If you think you are always right, you will never listen, never learn and never improve."
We must understand this, or we will never learn anything new ... and if there has ever been a time in all of history when the human race has needed to learn something new, that has surely got to be right now!
We Know Nothing
The danger of "already knowing everything we need to know" should be obvious. What if everything we already know is false? "We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false.” That was a statement made by William Casey, who was Director of the CIA! Pay attention! John D. Rockefeller, who was fundamental in the creation of the public education system, said: "I don't want a nation of thinkers, I want a nation of workers." What does this tell us? Their goal: to make us so ignorant that everything we believe is false. Looks like they are pretty close, but: "A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if no one believes it." - David Stevens.
We only get whatever the Control System gives us; people spend their whole lives not understanding that basic fact. Then, they turn on the news, "to find out what's goin' on" -- NO! That's not what is actually going on, it is what the government told them to tell you (Operation Mockingbird); they don't actually know anything! None of us do! What do we actually know? Nothing!
We know nothing!
A hundred years ago, what we "knew" was that there was only the galaxy we live in; now what we "know" is that there are hundreds of billions of galaxies. What do you think will change about what we "know" in another hundred years? How 'bout a thousand? New things are being discovered all the time, and some of those things reveal that what we thought we knew before was not correct at all. That is why it is so important to not get caught in the little box of "already knowing what we need to know" -- we do not know all that we need to know, not even close.
One of the most important things we will ever do to free ourselves is to realize that we don't actually know much at all ... and in relation to All That Is, we know basically nothing. That's what we know, nothing at all! From that standpoint, at least we have a chance of knowing more than nothing! We need to constantly re-examine all that we have been taught and told, and whatever insults us should be replaced with something that doesn't.
Bob Marley: "Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; none but ourselves can free our minds."
You don't have to go up on a mountain somewhere, or lock yourself into a dark cold room to find enlightenment; enlightenment is already within each of us. We find it by seeing through the illusion, the facade of what we have been told we must be, and becoming the true imagination of all that we believe to be true. As illusions and untruths crumble and dissolve, the way will be made for you to become the unique and infinite expression of all that you ever wanted to be. Everything you ever wanted to be is already inside of you, waiting to be accessed; as soon as you remove what you are not, you will automatically rise to become what you have already always been. The transition will be a marvelous miracle that all who encounter you will behold, with astonished amazement oozing from the gaze of their questioning eyes. They will wonder why, and how, this happened ... until they too learn that the same answer has always been within them just the same.
John Lennon: “The more real you get, the more unreal the world gets." That's because the more you move beyond the illusion, and see through the facade, the more you will see that we are living in an insane world.
The Authentic You
A lot of people think they can't change their lives (the world), and if they continue to think that way, then it's probably going to keep being true.
"Whether you think you can, or you think you can't -- you're right.” - Henry Ford.
The only people who have ever changed anything are those who have believed it was possible to do so. The people who believed it was impossible never changed anything, how could they? You cannot change the world, or your life, unless you believe you can; consequently, those are always the people that society considers to be crazy. "You're crazy! You can't change the world! You're just one person! One person can't change anything!" They will say this in the face of an enormous number of people, who were also "just one person", but somehow managed to change the whole freakin' world. People will think you're "crazy" if you think you can change the world, but the only people who ever have are those who believed they could. David Icke: "Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut, that held its ground." Geniuses are always considered crazy ... they usually have to die before being recognized for what they really were.
Danielle LaPorte: "Can you remember who you were, before the world told you who you should be?" From the moment we come into this world we are told who we are, what we are, and what reality is. But it is not their place to tell us any of that, not if our lives are to be our own. This is your life, no-one else's -- you decide what it is to be. You decide what your reality is, not other people who are not you. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks "reality" is supposed to be, or anything else for that matter. If you are going to live your true life, and truly express into this world what you really are, then you have to decide for yourself what your reality is; there is no other way to ever live the completeness and uniqueness that we each individually are.
People get stuck in their lives, thinking this way or that way, but where did these thoughts actually come from? Who said "this way" or "that way" was the "right way" or the "wrong way"? Who decided that? Did they ask your opinion? Did they consider your thoughts on the matter before they decided it was the way you should be doing it? "If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” - Albert Einstein. How many people spend their whole lives believing that they are wrong, bad, or defective in some way, simply because they don't do things the same as everyone else? Is that just a program running in your mind, or is that how you really feel? Is that the self that someone else told you to be, or is that the true self that is the authentic you? You will only be able to understand this by the way it feels, not by what your brain thinks about it.
Maybe there is a better or newer way; maybe there is a different way that works better for you. You don't have to do it the same way as someone taught you to; you can do it whatever way suits you. Breaking from the programing -- awakening from the normality of insanity -- involves understanding which of your thoughts are your own and which are not. Some people spend their whole life living someone else's life.
"All great acts of genius began with the same consideration: Do not be constrained by your present reality." - Leonardo da Vinci.
We have to move beyond our current reality of normality and insanity if we want to change anything. You can't just keep going to work, coming home, watching TV, eating dinner, going to bed, and then doing that same thing every day... and then expect anything to change. If you just keep doing the same thing, things will always stay the same -- you have to move beyond your current reality and do something different for anything to change.
Henry Ford: "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got."
When you move beyond the constraints of your current reality, you can peer behind the curtain and see through the illusion. And when you do that, the illusion loses power over you...
Congratulations: you are free!
