Who do you think would make the best next President and why?
Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Because I like his political opinions and we need someone who has a clue scientifically.
Lovely choice, but I wouldn't wish that death trap on someone so cool.
I wouldn't want Tyson to become the next JFK.
No one.
The system is too corrupt and shot through with corporate entanglements. Any really good president would end like JFK.
We need to walk away from the system. We need to starve the Corporate Party monster.
Take 9/11, for instance. Many Americans remain entirely clueless about its significance. Because of 9/11, the psychopaths in power now have greater freedom to wage war whenever they want, to curtail personal liberties whenever it suits them, to throw people in jail just as the Russians did to its political dissidents in the days of Soviet domination of the East.
But 9/11 was an inside job. There are tons of facts that prove this. Complicity of the government before hand to allow 9/11 to happen. Specific actions of cover-up afterward. And damning evidence that proves that 2 planes did not topple 3 WTC buildings on 9/11.
Here's just a few of those facts:
* WTC7 fell at perfect free fall for the first 8 floors of its collapse, late in the afternoon of 9/11.
* Free fall means ZERO resistance to collapse.
* Solid steel never, ever offers Zero resistance to collapse.
So, how did it happen? Controlled demolition. But the simple and compelling facts, above, are not the only evidence of this. With fires that never got hot enough to melt steel, we have tons of molten steel from 9/11. Many of those tons were in the form of iron microspheres -- then recently molten and atomized iron, mixed with the concrete dust. There were also traces of nano-thermate (a high-tech incendiary explosive, much quieter than RDX or C4).
We also have Mayor Rudy Giuliani committing a felony by destroying evidence at the largest crime scene in American history. As a former federal prosecutor, he knew better, but did it anyway. Was he arrested for this crime? No, he was rewarded with a chance at the presidency.
The top military officers responsible for the massive security failures on 9/11 were each given promotions instead of courts martial. Rewarding incompetence? Or complicity?
When this kind of crime can be perpetrated and covered up in plain sight -- and the Corporate Party media covers it up so well with pejorative labels to anyone who questions the official Conspiracy Theory as "conspiracy theorists," then America is clearly, hopelessly lost to corruption.
The best thing we can do is walk away. Boycott the Corporate Party beast.
And forgive the psychopaths who have murdered first 3000, and then millions
As a Conservative...I would prefer to see someone like Rand Paul. He seems to be a true Conservative. He is clearly no in lock step with the political elite within the Republican party who masquerade as conservatives. And he is not a closet Marxist like many on the left. The issue in politics is electability. Someone like Paul won't get elected because somebody like John Stewart will make a joke about his hair. That will be enough to deter the low information voters. And even if he is elected, he can only moderately change the direction of the country without a major seat change in congress. While the political pendulum swings back and forth. Any major seat change in Congress that might give a potential President like Rand Paul a super majority wouldn't mean much. Because most of those elected to the congress wouldn't likely be grass roots conservatives. More likely we'd get a bunch of country club Republicans that would line up against him behind closed doors. Because most people in both parties don't want any real change that empowers the people. They are only interested in policies that further centralize power in Gov't. Right now Senator Paul is proposing a constitutional amendment that would require that any law passed by the congress must apply equally to the members of congress. We'll see how much support that gets. My guess is not much. After all...why should politicians live under the same laws that they themselves reign down on us.

So if we understand the suit, the GOP wants states to send both sets of electors to Congress and the VP can determine which to count. Why are we even having elections then? The VP of the sitting party just chooses the president under this argument.https://www.yahoo.com/news/gohmert-suit...

Do you think Barack Obama has a cat's in hell's chance of winning the next US presidential election
by vgroom82 12 years ago
I think that Barack won't be re-elected but if he is, then he should actually do his job as a president more. So far all I see is that he became president b/c he made history being the first dark-skinned president.

And The Winner Is? Who do you think wil become the next President of the United States of America?Trump's un-favorability rating is at 65%, while Hillary's is at 55%, but she also has a possible indictment hanging over her head, which could have an effect on voter turn-out---if she is indicted. And...

The right-wing camp is constantly calling for Hillary's imprisonment, even though they have spent 30+ years and countless MILLIONS of tax payer dollars to 'investigate' her, ridicule her, accuse her of wrongdoing, insinuate that she is 'crooked', a murderer, a liar, a cheat, and more. The...
