   Do you think suicide is the coward way out?
   
   I keep hearing people say this ,seems harsh.

   suicide -- well, at least suicide attempts -- are often cries for help. And in many cases almost spontaneous. People I've known that have attempted it were trying to send a message to someone, anyone, that their lives were out of order or were suffering from depression.
   Those that have succeeded often found themselves near something that made it convenient. One thing I know is that those that attempt it and failed are most likely not try it again.

   Simply NO
   No one can judge someone about wanting to leave this world.
   It is not like we are not all going to die at some point, so what is wrong with a person choosing their own time.
   
   I have not considered suicide ever, but who knows what kind of circumstances might change my mind.

   That depends entirely on the circumstances. If someone is facing a terminal physical illness or major psychological issues (severe depression, for example), then I would be very understanding of their decision to stop their own suffering.
   
   If someone kills themselves to avoid being held accountable for their criminal/immoral actions, I'd probably be much less understanding.

   No, I don't think committing suicide is the "coward's way out".
   People who say so are upset because their loved one is gone.
   Anger is the Mask that Hurt wears!
   For a person to get to a point where they feel they'd be better off dead than alive means they were facing severe depression. They had no hope for a brighter future. 
   Life is a (personal) journey!
   Everyone is entitled to have their on pain threshold where they might feel "enough is enough". Being judgmental and "name calling" says more about the ones left behind than it does about the person who took their life.
   If friends and family have no empathy for them that may be an underlying cause. Instead we should be hoping at last they've found the peace of mind they longed for and needed.

   yes, I say coward is the word. God gave us our lives, we shouldn't take it away any how we wanted to. Coward people who are unable to face the reality are not worth to be sympathized. Mentality and stress- the care giver, family members should take note.
