What do you think Donald Trump will do for the country if he's elected President?
For me, the elections have always been picking the candidate that will do the least damage to the country. It is a toss up this election, But Trump has turned bankruptcy into billions and I feel his business sense will improve our debt.
I also feel the illegals need to stop entering and the companies that take work overseas should not be allowed to return their goods to this country. I do not know what he will do with these issues but at least he takes a stand.
He will help repeal Obamacare.
Put the proper perspective on what foreigners need to do to get lawful entry into the US. Currently, his protestors especially in New Mexico are flying the Mexican Flag, and Burning the American Flag. It shows that they only want to use the US to support their country, Mexico. They have no patriotism to the US.
Trump will give a needed new look at War, the Economy, and put a valid replacement in the SCOTUS.
He will give more transparency into the presidency.
He will focus on the middle class, and try to bring it back to life. The previous presidents either focused on the poor, or the rich.
Most politicians don't live in the same world as real people. Even though Trump is rich, he has been hit by the same bad economy as the rest of us. The politicians, as well as the federal employees live in denial of bad economies because the federal government can't go bankrupt. The federal employee retirement system is a Defined Benefits Retirement which means that no matter how bad the economy they will get the defined benefit. As opposed to 401ks where the economy in 2008 lost significant amounts of private retirement funds.
The world respects strength, and the US has been seen as vulnerable especially in the last 20 yrs. Trump will scare the bad guys because he is not a politician and they don't know how to deal with him. They know how to deal with the Clintons, and Obama as well as the Bushs.
Trump will also deal with the Income Tax System and make it more favorable to the middle class. Again, the poor people don't pay taxes. The rich people can hide much of their wealth by using the Internal Revenue Code. In 1986, the Tax Reform Act took away most of the deductions that could be used by the middle class.
In general, Trump as the unpolitician can better try to cross the aisle, or make the other side want to cross it.
Donald Trump couldn't pass a Civics test. I doubt that he could write an essay on how a bill becomes a law. The Republican Party bosses, therefore, will never allow him to have any power and will attempt to appeal his ego while letting him schmooze in the White House while they run the show. Responsible Republicans, no matter how conservative their politics, know that the safety of our nation depends on walking on a very tight rope that's positioned high above the circus tent without a net below. Falling off that tightrope brings down the whole tent down and everything with it. They might, mistakenly throw Trump the crumb of trying to run the economy which will further exacerbate the gap between the wealthy and the poor which will finally unite all the various underclasses and drive the nation to an out-and- out revolution. But THAT we could survive!
The GREATEST fear is that the Party won't be able to keep him locked up and under wraps enough so that he doesn't go off one day and throw a tantrum and start a pissing match with some crazy dictator like Kim Jong Un who will just sit back and laugh after the missiles he launches generate retaliatory missiles, and the whole damn thing does up in a nuclear Holocaust. But that's just a guess

Although her chances of winning is next to nothing (I'd rather vote for a sock puppet), but as a worse case senereo, I would tour Canada and Europe for four years and try not to stick out as an American due to embarrasment (very hard to do). It was bad enough traveling to Canada while Bush was in...
