It is fascism in the name of feelings. And to paraphrase George Carlin, it is gentrification of language that doesn't actually help the people it is purported to help.
In fact, the liberals actively seeking to meddle in the conversations of others by micromanaging their word choice and name-calling those who don't use the right words -ist and -phobic has silenced civil discussion and debate - leading to the rise of Donald Trump on the right because there are millions who let him speak for them because they weren't allowed to speak for themselves.
Evil and good are "beliefs without any foundation" therefore it can not be either [http://hubpages.com/religion-philosophy/Understanding-The-Knowledge-Of-Good-and-Evil], however, it is designed to prevent people from actually saying what they mean, for example, you are not to call them a liar even though they intended to deceive by not telling the truth or facts. Where I am concerned, "politically correctness" is to call everything according to its name and not be forced to say something in a "so called" nice way, which is all political correctness is.
So it isn't evil but it is not in the best interest of the people.

Do you think political correctness has gone to far and caused many problems?

It is carrying the argument for political correctness a bit too far to have this Islamic monument at ground zero. What is the point? What do you want to prove? Is it really needed at the exact spot? Logic and common sense should tell it is unnecessary provocation. A needless controversy has been...

I dislike PC.It stifles free speech, and free thought. It turns people agains each other, through altered forms of communication, and creates confusion through altering the meaning of words, and phrases. What are your thoughts on it?http://www.truenews.org/Liberalism/poli … ntrol.html
