Are you 1 of my 531 "Followers" who hasn't read "Wrapping It Up" and find T's win "unbelievable"?

I covered nearly 25 reasons why Donald J. Trump is now the President-elect of the United States of America (with over 300 Electoral College votes) and those reasons made it clear before the voting that he would win.  Some Americans still find his victory "unbelievable."  It shouldn't be.

Very interesting question -- I have been gone a whole lot lately in lands where the net does not reach so I think I missed them. To ask about it seems a bit peculiar. If you don't mind me saying.

I asked this because there still seem to be those incredulous that Trump won.  There are strategic and very real reasons he is our President-elect.  Folks need to understand them and then move on with their lives.

Ah yes now I get it. After a traumatic event there are at least five stages to go through. This was traumatic for many. I actually heard of two diagnosed conditions of PTSD caused by this. The anger and denial phases can take a long time to process.

I don't find his win unbelievable.  Much as Brexit was a shock to many here (but not to me!), I think the Presidential election should teach the 'traditional' politicians a lesson.  If they listened to the people instead of following their own interests they might still have the country's following.
I don't know much about the US system and find it far too 'showbiz' but general politics saddens me.

I agree with your comment, Ann. Cable TV has caused U.S. media to become a dog and pony show since news channels have 24 hrs. to fill. Politics can only get worse because of sensationalist exposure.

Obama used the media one way, concentrating on states with large #s of electoral votes while winning big in urban areas and ignoring the rest of the country.  Trump courted the disaffected whose #s had skyrocketed and courted country-wide + Obama's.
