Lefties, do you consider this good or bad?

Romney shows his moderate side in regards to economic policy again, claiming that balancing the budget too quickly would have too great of negative consequences to the market.

So, is this good, that Romney is being moderate Romney?

Is it bad, because Romney isn't being more right-wing?(Remember, people here criticize him both for being right-wing, and for not being right-wing enough, somehow)

      It's good.
      It's also completely calculated.
He veered way to the right under pressure.
He's now having to distance himself from the extreme positions of his Veep pick, who was selected specifically to solidify the that base.
So it's assumed he has that base in hand.
He now needs to pick off as many independents/centrists in the middle as he can.
      Those are the up-for-grabs voters.
They are disenchanted with Obama because their own economic recovery has not happened fast enough.
If he can present a plausible sounding PLAN, this strategy could pay off.

Until the next disconnect/discovery happens and he has to once again morph into a new, improved version of himself.

Jaxson, Sure it is good by that is the Jeckyl, what about the Hyde? He has to appeal to the most stonefaced rightwingers in the party, how much of a chemeleon can he be to appear to attract moderates at this point. All you have to do is look at the GOP platform, that says it all!
