The most unsettling thing happened to Obama on the way to his not being re-elected the POTUS. During his debate with Romney on Thursday, Obama's usual facade of total competence left him; he looked bewitched, bothered and bewildered. Could it be that, as one of his more rabid fan (to the tune of $1million dollars donated to Obama's campaign coffers) in Hollywood Bill Maher suggested, Obama needed his teleprompter. By now It should be obvious to those who still adore his teleprompter aided soaring rhetoric (sic: Chris Matthews: "Whenever I hear Obama speak, my legs tingle") that Obama could not defend his 4 year record on the economy and foreign affairs without discombobulating, digressing, and diverting. The teleprompter can only do so much, and the sad truth is the only thing that Obama is good at is enjoying the perks of the presidency.
