    With who? Try to guess! Our Iraqi friends! Is it a just return on investment? I'm sure that the military industrial complex didn't see it coming! I'm sure that they were expecting to cash big time! I love surprises!

      While I don't disagree with the sentiment it's generally the assumption that developing economies will buy arms from China or Russia, their equipment offers more bang for the buck while the US specializes in high cost, high quality arms.

        Is it really their motivation since America showed to the world its foreign policy consisting in invading, killing and pilfering their natural resources! Although, now, to the example of Syria it is financing and supporting salafists mercenaries committing atrocities in the name of "freedom".
        I guess the Iraqi maneuver is aiming to protect its nation against another US intervention and, at the same time to develop an alliance with Russia.
