This article dated June 20, 2012 About the SCOTUS decision on Obamacare, had NO idea this plan, the AHC Act comes from the right wing Heritage Foundation! A Republican plan that they have railed against as unconstitutional, that they seek to repeal!

Everyone is waiting with bated breath on SCOTUS’ decision on the Affordable Health Care AKA Obama care. AHC was the brainchild, for a lack of a better term, of the conservative lobbying group the Heritage Foundation. AHC was the result of preventing a European-type single payer health care in the 80s. According to the Heritage Foundation:
Many states now require passengers in automobiles to wear seat belts for their own protection. Many others require anybody driving a car to have liability insurance. But neither the federal government nor any state requires all households to protect themselves from the potentially catastrophic costs of a serious accident or illness. Under the Heritage plan, there would be such a requirement.
in 1993, this bill was endorsed by 20 Republicans and was introduced by House Majority Leader Newt Gingrich and Bob Dole who was senate majority leader. In 2003, Senator Ron Wyden introduced the Healthy Americans Act, an individual mandate, approved by 80 fellow senators on both the Democratic and Republican members.
Obviously the Romney/Ryan campaign don't want this little tidbit out in the open and in the news!
I am in total shock about this one, first Obama is an amazing Commander in Cheif, he is not afraid to do what's neccessary, but is the diplomat first, Second, I looked up the UN and what they had in the cooker this year, many of the accomplishments of the Obama Administration were by UN standard, Third he has drilled more oil than Bush...I mean he is a republican's wet dream of a POTUS, only he also helps the poor, the elderly, the sick, the downtrodden, fights for cleaner energy and air and water, wants to direct tax cuts to the middle class...This man may have been elected a Democrat, but he is a Centerist! He has taken all of the best parts of each side and adopted them into one fantastic leader! No wonder the R's hate him, he is better at being an R than they are
