Officially calling it "Al's Jazeera" now.

Al Jazeera is the only free press in large parts of the world, and compares favorably to most US channels on non-bias and free speech grounds.   I expect Al Gore aims to act according to the greater good, not according to a simplistic complete boycott of a product that he, and the rest of us, use every day.

Then I am sure Gore will embrace "Al's Jazeera" as a compliment.

You know Glenn Beck tried to buy it and he refused.
So he sells it to the oil folks.

It one of the top 5 news stations in the world and a beacon of freedom of expression.  I think that is more important. IMHO of the 2, AJ is by far the better media outlet.

Yes.....no love lost for us though and that's who he sells to.
        Very telling.

What makes you feel AJ has any enmity at all for whatever category of "us" you are referring to?

This is the same entity that was the messenger for Osama Bin Laden.
All his propaganda tapes were aired first by Al-Jazeera.

It's called reporting.  Stations here also aired them the second they got hold of them.

                Sure it's called reporting.
But  why wouldn't he have sent them to ABC? CBS? NBC?
                He had the means.
There was recently a reporter who was hired by them and subsequently left because he discovered they were
Anti-American. Sorry but that does matter.

The same reason the unibomber sent his manifesto to the New York Times. Because they were local.

And do you have a link for the other claim?  As I have mentioned, AJ has been identified by reputable awarding agencies as one of the top 5 stations in the world for lack of bias. I doubt they are more anti-American than Fox is anti-middle easterner.

Listen to the whole thing now.

Sounds like it didn't go over too well with the staff..................

I did listen to the whole thing and probably won't bother following such recommendations in the future because it said none of the things you claimed. So all I learned was that you might have an issure correctly extracting information from primary sources.

Did the ex employee say AJ is anti-American? No, he explicitly said no when asked if this was the case. He said he left because the desk he was on became less autonomous and they produced material that had the wrong editorial tone for Washington and did not "meet his standards".

He also mentioned that Murdoch sold Fox newscore to a wealthy Saudi (oil money).

The only person in this entire clip who claimed AJ was anti-American was OReilly who has no direct experience with AJ and is, frankly, a fruit loop (so this claim appears not "on CNN" but on a clip they showed of, you guessed it, Fox news.)

He definitely needed a reason to leave.
You should look at that last link I posted.
His staff does not appear to share your opinion of AJ.

      At all.

He gave the reason, and it wasn't the one you claimed. Ergo I am kind of giving up on your links.
