Woman calls 911 at night, because her ex is trying to break into her home. He had already put her in the hospital, and there was a warrant for his arrest.
The dispatcher informed her that there were no police officers that could respond to her, because it was a weekend. They don't have officers in that area on the weekends. The dispatcher told her, if he broke in, to ask him to go away.
He broke in, choked her, raped her. But don't worry, the government will always be there to protect you. Teachers can protect their students from a gunman with a pair of scissors. Women can urinate on themselves if they are being raped. You can ask the guy trying to kill you to go away. These are the solutions we get from the government.
Or... you could take responsibility for your defense.
I talk about personal responsibility often... this is just another aspect of it. Sheep make good victims.
