    Sanaa, Yemen

Four suspected al Qaeda militants were killed in Saturday night when a U.S. drone struck their vehicle in southern Yemen, four Yemeni Defense Ministry officials said.

They are burning an American flag in protest of the drone strike.

What do you think about the United States continuing the use of drones in places like Yemen. Do you think this is helping the war on terror or creating new terrorists. I think we may be creating more terrorists.

I fear we may wake up one morning to another 9 - 11. What do you think?

Drones kill more innocent civilians than actual terrorists. So yes, they are feeding hatred.

In fact drones are weapons of terror themselves both psychologically and physically. I'm not even sure they are legal.

I think it's helpful, actually.   If the use of drones can increase the number of terrorists who are killed while lessening the number of American soldiers who are killed,  then it sounds like a viable and good thing.

Your right we should make war so impersonal that we no longer think of the loss of human life when fighting (heavy sarcasm for those too thick to catch it).

At what point do we become the terrorist? Are we still fighting for freedom when a drone missile takes out women, children, and the bride at a Wedding (it's happened)?

Interesting site I found while googling information about this post...

It's a hard fact that, in any war, there are gonna be innocents killed.
These days, the terrorists have become so bold AND so sneaky (both!)  that it seems to require bold tactics to fight them.
          I dunno.........
Will try to read the link.

I agree that the "new" type of fighting is impersonal and results in collateral human damage and deaths.   It does, though (I would think) prevent "friendly fire" upon our own soldiers.   I'm not lacking in compassion for innocent civilians anywhere!   But I do know that Americans are rightfully concerned about its own citizens first and foremost.
I wonder how those stats in the link you showed me compare with the stats of innocent Americans who've been killed by terrorists here on our own soil?..............
Hey, I don't have the answer to this anymore than anyone else;  I'm just considering it all as best I can.

Blowback from aggressive militarism? You bet. If someone else did this to America, we'd be all of their carcass. So, of course they want to fight back against the new Evil Empire -- America!

crazyhorsesghost, great question, but it lacks a great deal in perspective that you will never find in the Corporate Party media. Why? Because the Corporate Party media is owned by the same people who own the Military-Industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned us about.

    You have to ask yourself:

    * Do greedy people exist?
    * Does power tend to corrupt?
    * Have people ever committed a conspiracy to do bad?

What better place to hide tyranny than a nation that prides itself on being free and open. And what better place to hide propaganda than a press which is thought to be free and open. (Just ask Michael Hastings! Oops, he's dead. Suicided by those who thought he was getting too close.)

Those who speak up are demonized (Snowden called a traitor, instead of a hero). Those who know too much are thrown in jail -- Susan Lindauer and Thomas Drake -- with some charges so secret that even they did not know what they were. How do you defend against such tyranny? You shine a light on it.

The Corporate Party news isn't showing you all of the innocent men, women and children who are killed by our drone strikes. They talk very little about drones that are flying over our own skies! Will those drones become weaponized as the economy fails. (And it will fail, because of the $17 Trillion in debt and accelerating spending madness.)

Obama has his kill list which has included Americans on it. No trial, no jury, no recourse -- Bang! You're dead. Obama's treason has resulted in the death of at least 2 Americans -- one 16 years old, born in Colorado. Arrogance, national secrets and Corporate Party media complicity in covering up crime after crime.

Things escalated with 9/11. The biggest lies are found there. The War on Terror is a hoax -- a lucrative one that the Military-Industrial complex most certainly loves.

New York Mayor Giuliani committed a felony by having the largest crime scene in American history cleaned up before an investigation could be performed. Bush dragged his feet for over a year before reluctantly establishing the 9/11 Commission. And co-chair Hamilton said that the 9/11 Commission had been "set up to fail" because the government wouldn't cooperate.

Top military officers responsible for the massive security failures on 9/11 were all given promotions instead of courts martial. How quaint.

Even government scientists are complicit in the coverup. When one of the 3  buildings which collapsed on 9/11 went into perfect free fall for about 100 feet, government scientists ignored the obvious implications -- that steel NEVER offers zero resistance to collapse unless there are cutter charges or other forms of controlled demolition involved. They say that simple "office fires" caused the collapse. Only in cartoons and government lies.

If we ever have another 9/11, it will be like those 3 buildings which collapsed on 9/11 (one of which was never hit by an airplane) -- a lie to cover up a crime.

Remember the lie of WMDs in Iraq. After we discovered that it was a lie, Bush merely made jokes to his psychopathic elite cronies, while our boys and thousands of innocent Iraqis continued to die.

If America was at all sane, we would've withdrawn from Iraq and apologized for the illegal intrusion. And Iraq was very compliant with our every wish. The CIA liaison with Iraq, Susan Lindauer, knew this and knew that our government knew this. So, when the war started with Iraq, Susan Lindauer was put in prison for knowing too much.

America has become the new Evil Empire. It's leaders are puppets for the Corporate Party psychopathic elite. There is no single Hitler in this fascist regime. We have a revolving door of Hitlers to keep the illusion of choice alive.

They only need people to remain asleep long enough to finish their coffin for America. You see, the true America -- the land of the free and home of the brave, underneath the cowering, sniveling slaves that the Corporate Party media says that we've become -- that true America stands in their way of total world domination. Don't believe it? Do you think this is "conspiracy theory?" Look at the fact that Obama consulted with the UN (not Congress, per the law), before invading Libya -- a country which did nothing to America.

No, the next 9/11 will be like the first -- a CIA, NSA, Corporate Party Black Op, False Flag operation, like Operation Northwoods (1962). Only now, they don't have a pesky do-gooder like JFK standing in their way.

Awareness is the first step to dispelling lies and tyranny. Do your own research, as if your life depended on it. Then, spread the word.

    God bless the real America.
