Even if you don't believe in the missions  that THEY  are called upon to defend  , believe in those who do .    After all You may be wrong !        Never have there been more Veterans  in  and on our health care systems  recovering , all so deservingly .  Yet one of the underlying  subjects of  conversations I take part in more than ever is  "  Will we be forgotten ?"

And there are many , especially Viet Nam vets who feel forgotten still !

I agree. I've seen wounded Vets on the streets begging, and those men shouldn't ever be forgotten, or neglected. God bless our brave, and wonderful soldiers

Something I wrote after viewing the wall.

    The silence of 58,183 dead
    Staring out of black granite
    Shinning beacon to war’s legacy
    A letter
    A trumpet
    Lace panties
    A teddy bear
    Gifts to those remembered
    From those left behind
