How do we find a solution to the problem of Corruption in the United States Government?
Step One: Identify the problem by isolating the difficulties.
What are the difficulties in keeping Government uncorrupted?
Can the causes be controlled or remedied?
How?
elect people who will not sell their souls to special interests
But why did we elect them?
Why did they run for office?
Take Jeb Bush or Hilary Clinton. ( Gear up: These will be the choices, we have.)
Why would we elect either and who will they cater to once elected and why.
Is it only for money or something darker and danker?
They are. Which is (maybe) why Jeb Bush is being vilified, elsewhere. Hilary is a gross out for most, but if they can make Jeb look bad …
Maybe, I don't know.
Actually, the prediction is that Jeb will be elected president.
Man, I hope I'm wrong.
Apparently there are none such. At least none that are willing to serve the people - not surprising as the people (meaning the citizens casting votes) demand the same thing. That they provide special perks and benefits to those electing them.
To cut to the chase… if we the people don't grow a voice more than a pathetic mew, we will loose the country to the most powerful forces which exist OUTSIDE of our country. Some ($)forces within the country are connected to the($)forces without.
If we could actually elect an honest incorruptible person for president, we could save ourselves. But will we?
NOOOOO!
Because we have not the voice of a lion.
( ...and that little emoticon says it all.)
Solution: We need to Identify those ($)forces which influence us from without.
(George Soros is one.)
"Solution: We need to Identify those ($)forces which influence us from without.
(George Soros is one.)"
You defeat your own post with identifying only one person from one side? Is it only the left that have someone buying elections. What about the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson? Wilderness was so astute in his response when he said:
"not surprising as the people (meaning the citizens casting votes) demand the same thing. That they provide special perks and benefits to those electing them."
Seeing one side of the problem will not entice nor endear anyone to change their mind.
"I have come to the conclusion that politics are too serious a matter to be left to the politicians."
Charles De Gaulle (1890 - 1970)
Politicians need to identify as being part of the whole of We the People. They are us. What they do in office affects them as well as us, as it their country too. Would you like to make the country better for all, which includes yourself? or just make your life better for you, which would exclude the majority. By appealing and appeasing the few, the majority is left in the cold. "But we care so much!"
Blah!
China and Russia are now the SuperPowers of the world.
It seems odd that just yesterday there was an explosion in both countries and one in Nigeria. (maybe more...)
China - http://news.yahoo.com/china-state-media … 15018.html
Russia - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3ht49EOnL4
Nigeria - http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/11/africa/nigeria-violence/
Something is going on and we aren't hearing the truth on main stream media.
America use to be the world's SuperPower but that has been given away. We have been sold out! America is a great nation, at least it can be once again once we have leaders who know it is true and act like it.
We are not any more. Not at all.
why? because the people have dropped the ball.
Complete utter fumblers, we are.
If we could just hang onto the ball.
what is the ball?
Hint: it has to be and mean MORE than $$$$$$.
MUCH MORE!
What could that be?
Something priceless.
So, these are others? Koch Brothers and Sheldon Adelson. Soros vs the Koch brothers and Sheldon Adelson?
"Koch is also one of the Republican Party's most reliable donors. In every election cycle since 2000, people and political action committees associated with the company have donated at least 83 percent of their cash to Republican candidates and committees." [1]
"All told, including donations given to both super PACs and nonprofits, Adelson and wife, Miriam, contributed more than $150 million to pro-Republican efforts during the 2012 election cycle, according the Huffington Post. Giving to super PACs alone, exceeded $93 million, which is more than any other individual or married couple." [2]
George Soros Biography and Political Campaign Contributions [3]
Besides healthy donations they head up Super Pac's that do not have to disclose their donors. Corporations and private donors alike sway votes because money is speech in this society.

Until caring Americans awaken to the fact that non- voting Apathy is the real problem and awaken everyone from a slumber of fat and happy , stop taking the easy way out by wearing the coat of ignorance and eliminate partisan bigotry , we will remain the same , as planned and carried out by our congress ! Probably most people who do vote , vote the party ticket .
But we need to isolate the difficulty.
What is it?
It is hard for us to know and agree on the TRUTH of what is going on behind the scenes.
So what is going on behind the scenes?
????
Colorfulone mentioned something up there.

Money, money, money. It buys the system and cancels the ethics. Lawmakers average 4 to 6 hours a day raising money to be re-elected. The ratio is hard to ignore. "In the House, the candidate with more money wins in 9 out of 10 races, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan group that tracks money in politics. In the Senate, it's 8 out of 10." [1]
We ,the American Electorate, have deemed it this way as we so eagerly support it. Money is at the root of everything political in this country.

"I don't see much future for the Americans... It's a decayed country. And they have their racial problem, and the problem of social inequalities... My feelings against Americanism are feelings of hatred and deep repugnance... Everything about the behavior of American society reveals that it's half Judaized, and the other half negrified. How can one expect a State like that to hold together?"
- Adolf Hitler
[Don't take the quote seriously. It's for reference only.]
I believe the number one political issue , problem , and never ending divide in America IS the Two Party system ! The ignorance and laziness of the American voter insists that he only fall to partisanship to involve himself in voting ,.
This isn't simply my opinion , it is so obvious that apathy in our becoming politically educated IS the great American downfall , Politics is boring ! , for most people . How many times I have heard people at the booth asking , "Who will you vote for .........."
Now why ?, Other than the required reading required on a day to day basis to educate oneself to the duality in rhetoric of the average political candidate and political policies , most Americans are simply too politically Lazy ! Anything ! is more interesting to the average American than vetting real leadership . To me there is nothing more boring than listening to the high school mentality of those obviously unable to think for themselves , spouting forth with the partisan rhetoric .
We need for more intelligent Americans to think and vote - outside of party lines !
